Payment Methods.

Payment for books published by the Negri Foundation and sold on line through this web site can be made using one of the following systems:

1) VISA or MASTERCARD plastic credit cards.
The Negri Foundation has signed an agreement with the Cooperative Credit Bank of Brescia to operate a “Virtual Pay” virtual POS system which works exactly like the credit card reading appliances in High Street shops, a simple and easy payment method, reliable and safe. “Virtual Pay” operates under the protection of protocol SSL, (cryptographed at 128 bit.) In this way the Negri Foundation never asks for a Buyer’s credit data as that part of the transaction is carried out automatically by “Virtual Pay,” who inform the Seller when the contract is complete. The ordering and payment stages are thus two independent but cooperative functions that guarantee simplicity of use and security for both parties. The placing of an order involves the Buyer and the Negri Foundation web site whereas the payment phase involves only the Buyer and the Bank.

2) Bank Draft.
It is possible to order books published by the Negri Foundation on line and then to carry out payment through a normal bank draft. Once the bank draft has been arranged it is necessary to e-mail the bank reference code for the operation to libri@negri.it, or to fax the Seller (on (39) 030 42020) a copy of the bank receipt relative to the same operation. It is important that the Buyer should specify on the bank draft module the order number and code that were allocated on the order confirmation page during the on-line transaction.

3) Paypal.
The Negri Foundation web site is directly connected to an on-line payment system called “PayPal,” which is a popular method of payment for on-line acquisitions. This service is free for buyers and allows payment through a current bank account or with one of the following credit cards: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, PostePay, Aura, Discover, American Express and Maestro.

4) Contrassegno (payment on receipt.)
This option is available only for deliveries in ITALY. Italian residents who do not want to pay for a book in advance can thus pay on delivery.

The Negri Foundation reserves the right not to deliver orders for which the order form has been only partly or incorrectly completed. In the event of non delivery of an order by the Negri Foundation through the non-availability of the titles ordered, the Seller will inform the Buyer as soon as possible of the situation, in respect of article 6 of the relevant legal decree, and will reimburse sums of money paid in advance for goods not delivered.

The prices of books advertised on the web site are inclusive of taxes but NOT of delivery costs. These last expenses are presented perfectly clearly during the process of an on-line acquisition on the “shopping basket” order form.

The invoice document relative to book purchases are issued by the Negri Foundation at the moment when payment has been confirmed. If the Buyer holds a VAT number and requires an invoice in the company name he needs to indicate this fact on the order form, at the same time furnishing the correct company name, address and VAT number. Invoices are issued for orders of 100 Euros (€100) or more. For orders below this figure the Negri Foundation issues a simple receipt.
